Hello friends, in this post, I want to share a guide on how to fix a Canon camera lens with a broken autofocus, spesificly lens type Canon EF-S 18-55 III/IS II.
The signs of a broken autofocus include:
- Inability to take photos with autofocus, only manual focus is possible
- Images are not sharp and not focused
- The front lens ring does not rotate
The most common cause of this problem is a broken autofocus flexible cable. The solution is to replace the flexible autofocus part with a new one.
